Role Summary

As a Lead Programmer Analyst, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise administrative systems that support critical campus operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading implementations, upgrades, and maintenance of PeopleSoft systems.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze functional requirements and ensure systems meet operational needs.

  • Managing project timelines and coordinating resources from concept through maintenance.

  • Creating and maintaining system documentation, test plans, and training materials.

  • Overseeing compliance with ITS standards and university policies.

You will also support future planning efforts for ERP modernization, including potential transitions to cloud-based systems.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience (or Associate's degree with 6 years) in programming and supporting enterprise systems.

  • Experience with three or more of the following:
    PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQR, SQL, BI Publisher, Crystal Reports, Oracle, Java, JSP, or PeopleTools.

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience and ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, HCM, or Finance modules.

  • Experience supporting or migrating to ERP/SIS platforms such as Workday or Oracle Cloud.

  • Familiarity with automated testing and AI-assisted development tools.

  • Experience working in higher education.
